Three villages, one afternoon

A day ticket on the mid-lake ferries costs less than a coffee in Milan and takes you to the three villages that make the postcards.

Our route

Start in Varenna and walk the shore path north before the day boats arrive. Cross to Menaggio for lunch away from the front, then take the late boat to Bellagio when the lanes empty out.

Be on the last boat home at 19:10. The sun goes down behind you the whole way back.
