Cold water, warm stone

The lake is deep and fed by the mountains, so even in August the water below the jetty is cooler than the air. Our guests either love it or watch from the steps.
Heat, then cold
The ritual in the spa follows the same idea: twenty minutes of steam, a cold plunge, then warm stones. The contrast loosens the shoulders better than any oil.
Go in slowly to the waist, breathe out, then commit. The first ten seconds are the only hard part.
The jetty ladder is open from seven until dusk, and towels are left at the top of the steps.
